This Rough Magic Mary Stewart 1964 vintage, M.S. Mills Co. The dust jacket took most of the bumps and bruises. There is some chipping and a sticker peel on the spine side of the dust jacket. The covers have some light bumps and bruises, the dust jacket took most of it. Inside the binding is tight and intact, with no ripped, torn or missing pages. The worst is shown here with the hinge paper separated on the front cover, not the back.

Tinsel William Goldman DJ VG Club Edition 1979. The book is in overall very good condition. The dust jacket has only minor bumps, bruises and dings along the edges. The covers look very good with the doinks confined to the exposed edges. Inside the book is like new, with no rips, tears, missing pages or pen marks. The binding is tight and intact.

Arafat, Sidgwick & Jackson,  London 1985, second printing.  There are only minor bumps and bruises, no rips or tears.  The jacket has some shelf wear, no rips tears or pen marks. The hinge papers are fine and intact.  This one has been read once, maybe.

Dick Francis, Hot Money, Putnam 1988.  There are NO rips, tears or pen marks.  The covers have been a little tweaked from improper storage.  The dust jacket took most of the abuse, with some chipping and small tears. 

Peter Norton's DOS Guide 3d Edition 1989. The covers have only minor bumps and bruises, no rips or tears, just an Egghead Books price sticker for $22.95. Inside the book is the same, just minor signs of use like a little waviness to some pages and some finger smudges. NO ripped or torn pages. Fantastic 1980's DOS how to guide by the famous Peter Norton!

The Best Known Works Of Robert Louis Stevenson, published by the Book League of America. Blue Ribbon 1941.  The pages have no written marks or tears. The pages are yellowed. There is no dust jacket. The hardback cover has some shelf wear, and minor bumps and bruises.  The binding is tight and intact. 

Life World Library Israel, 1962.  The covers have some minor bumps, nothing major, there is some slight soiling and a small spot of chipping on the spine.  The binding is tight and intact, the pages have NO rips, tears or folds.  The only pen marks are a gift note on a blank page inside. 

Dick Francis, Reflex, Putnam 1981 2nd Printing.  The dust jacket has shelf wear, slight rips and a few spots.  The covers have only slight bruises at the very corners.  The hinge papers are intact even though it has been read.  There are NO rips, tears or folds, just a two small spots on the first page of text 

The Eiger Sanction.  This is NOT a club edition. Other than there being some faint bumps and bruises to the cover, the dust jacket took the bumps and scuffs. Inside the binding is tight and intact, with no rips to the hinge papers. The pages have NO rips, tears, folds, pen marks or bends. This one spawned one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies of the same name. It belongs in your library of classics. 

California State Reader, Our Good Neighbor 1955. This vintage one is in good shape, with the binding tight and in tact. There are minor bumps and bruises on the cover. There are some stamp marks on the inside front and rear covers, these are from the school district that eliminated it from their library. 

Roads to Anywhere, School Reader 1948.  This was a evaluation copy given to the Pueblo, Colorado schools.  There are minor bumps and bruises on the cover. There are some stamp marks on the inside front and rear covers.  There is some staining to the top and bottom of the pages as well as a little waviness from getting wet, I found one ¼" tear.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, turn of the century.  The worst damage is to the covers and spine cover.  it looks like a lil darling was poking it with a pencil.  Inside other than yellowing it is minty, no rips, tears bends and the hinge papers are in tact. 

Dick Francis, Longshot, Putnam 1990.  The one is in read once twice at the most condition.  Dust jacket has minor shelf wear, no rips.  There is a small scuff under the dust jacket at the bottom near the spine and only minor other bumps.  Inside it is minty, no rips, tears bends and the hinge papers are in tact.   

1985 Re-Print of the Frances Hodgson Burnett Classic, The Secret Garden.  This was illustrated by Tasha Tudor.  The dust jacket shows moderate shelf wear.  the covers are faded and show moderate shelf wear on the edges, going thru is corner spots.  inside there are NO rips or tears, just some bending from being read a moderate amount of times.  Looks to be some Childs favorite story. 

The Rolling Stones Anthology Songs Vol. #1, Lyrics & Music Abkco Music 1975 Piano/Vocal. The books are full of the Stones greatest hits the songs are listed below. They are not missing any pages and have minor bumps and bruises, but no rips, tears or other major damage. The front cover of Vol.1 is the back cover of Vol.2 and vice versa. The front cover of Vol.1 has a bend in the lower right corner. 

Partridge Family Album, 1st Edition 1994. The 330 pager chronicles the story and exploits of Americas Favorite Musical Family! This 6 1/8" X 9" soft cover, has minor bumps, bruises some bends to the covers, but NO rips or torn pages. It is moderately used, look at the edges if the pages, a little darkening from fingers. You will notice that it is slightly warped, this comes from improper storage. 

Wonderful World of Make Believe, United Federation of Dolls Clubs, 39th Annual Convention, Anaheim, CA. August 13-15th 1988. This 144 page Souvenir Journal still has the doll postcards in the back. Journal is chock full of 40+ articles written by doll experts. There are NO rips, tears or missing pages, just a little soiling, and minor bumps and bruises on the covers from be jostled around. 

School Algebra Book #1, Ginn & Company 1913, George Wentworth and David Eugene Smith.  The book is well used and shows it's near 100 years in age.  There are no ripped or torn pages and the binding is in tact.  It displays some warping. 

Tasha Tudor 23rd Psalm "The Lord is My Shepard", 1980.  There are NO rips or tears, the pages are straight and the binding tight and intact.  There are some light bumps, bruises and dings on the covers and dust jacket.  The pages have a smudge or two from a child's fingers.  It is about 15 pages, most of which have Tasha Tudor illustrations.  ISBN 0-399-20756-2

Dick Francis, The Danger, Putnam 1984.  This one has been read only a few times.  Dust jacket has minor shelf wear, no rips.  There is some slight warping at the spine likely due to lying flat with other books on top of it.  Inside it is very good condition, no rips, tears bends and the hinge papers are in tact.  There is a small spot on the outside edge of the pages at the bottom, a finger mark and does not extend to the pages.  ISBN 0-399-12890-5

Los Angeles Polytechnic High School 1930 yearbook.  There are NO rips or tears, the pages are straight and the binding tight and intact.  The covers have minor bumps and bruises.  The pages have some yellowing from age.  Inside the covers on the blank pages, there are quite a few autographs from fellow classmates.  Super condition 76 year old yearbook. 

Los Angeles Polytechnic High School 1931 yearbook.  There are NO rips or tears, the pages are straight and the binding tight and intact.  The covers have minor bumps and bruises.  The pages have some yellowing from age.  Inside the covers on the blank pages, there are quite a few autographs from fellow classmates.  Super condition 75 year old yearbook. 

Wonder Book of the World's Progress, Funk and Wagnells Company 1935.  There are four volumes here, # 1 The Universe, The Earth.  # 5 Hero Tales, Plants.  #7 History Peoples and # 10 Industries Index.  There are no rips or torn pages.  All the bindings are tight and intact.  There are bumps, bruises and a few spots.  # 7 has separation to the front cover paper. 

Messer Marco Polo, by Donn Byrne, The Century Co. 1921.  The covers have some warping and the pages wrinkled from improper storage and high humidity.  There are no rips or tears, just a small chip out of the bottom of one page as well as overall yellowing of the pages.  Look at the pictures carefully, the cover has its share of bumps and bruises. 

Audels Welders Guide, by Frank D. Graham, 1961.  A 482 page illustrated guide to welding from the early 60's.  This one is beautiful in every respect, no rips, tears, folds, bends or pen marks.  The binding is tight and intact, with only minor bumps to the covers from handling. 

1965 Chevrolet Factory Corvair Shop Manual. The 1965 manual is from Chevrolet and complete with no torn or missing pages. There are a whole lot of tiny dog ears and a ton of greasy finger prints, they are all mine. I bought this manual in 1971 when I was 15 and bought my 1967 Monza to make a hot rod out of.  I got many of the performance parts from IECO (Jenson forged aluminum pistons and Offy rods, crank by Hank the Crank), remember them? The most performance part on the car was the Judson Supercharger (which I still have), I sure miss that car! I

Honda Accord Factory Service Manual 1982. This manual is not the typical over the counter auto parts store one size fits all variety. This is the Honda Accord Factory comprehensive service manual exclusively for the 1982 Accord. There are some bumps, bruises and wear marks inside and out as the book is well used. The worst is shown here with a taped on front and rear covers. Inside there are no missing pages. There are a quite a few greasy finger prints inside. The pages are chock full of illustrations and very detailed service information. Once you work on a car with the guidance of the factory manual, you will never consider throwing your money away on any other manual for your vehicle. Datsun 610 Series Factory Service Manual 1976. This manual is not the typical over the counter auto parts store one size fits all variety. This is the Datsun (Nissan) Factory comprehensive service manual exclusively for the 610 series of Datsun. There are some bumps, bruises and wear marks inside and out as the book is well used. The worst is shown here with a coffee stain on the front cover. There are no ripped or torn pages, just a few greasy finger prints inside. The pages are chock full of illustrations and very detailed service information. Once you work on a car with the guidance of the factory manual, you will never consider throwing your money away on any other manual for your vehicle. Illustrated History of Pro Football 1971, by Robert Smith. The jacket has some minor rips, nothing big and the covers have normal bumps and bruises for being 33 years old. Inside it is just beautiful, no rips, tears, folds or penmarks. 310 pages of the history about our favorite Sunday TV watching pastime, chock full of photos. Media rate shipping is recommended due to it's size and weight.

Quadrangle 1941, McPhearson Kansas Yearbook. The yearbook is in very good condition with the binding tight and intact. There are no rips, tears or missing pages. The cover has a tiny spot or two, but the inside is very good. The pages may have a slight smudge or two scattered around from handling. There are many inscriptions from the friends of the owner.

1930's Book League Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini. There is NO dust jacket. The covers are lightly faded with minor bumps, bruises and scuffs. Inside the pages have some yellowing from age, NO rips, tears or pen marks, just some light dust soiling to the exposed edges.

1930's Book League American Masterpieces. Featuring works from, Washington Irving, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allen Poe and Oliver Wendell Holmes. There is NO dust jacket. The covers are lightly faded with minor bumps, bruises and scuffs. Inside the pages have some yellowing from age with some dark spots, NO rips, tears or pen marks, just some light dust soiling to the exposed edges.

National Geographic Society We Americans Pictorial History Book. The book is 456 pages and there are no rips, tears or missing pages. It is chock full of pictures and illustrations of American History. The covers have some minor bumps, bruises and scuffs, nothing major. The binding is tight and intact, like it was hardly used. This thing weighs over 6 lbs and needs to ship thru slower media rate to be cost effective, but I will ship any way you would like.

The 1976 movie Marathon Man was based on this literature. It starred Dustin Hoffman, Laurence Olivier, and Roy Shieder. This book is used and missing the dust jacket, the covers have minor bumps, bruises and scuffs. Inside there are NO rips, tears, folds or bends. The binding is tight and intact. This one is a reader, not for just sitting on a shelf. It it the basis of a great movie and I think it reads better than the movie.

Carl Sagan Contact 1985, HB, DJ, VG. The dust jacket has minor bumps, bruises and scuffs. Inside thereare no rips, tears or penmarks and the binding is tight and intact. There is a bump on the front cover that made an indentation to the dust jacket and front cover.

James Michener's Hawaii, 1st edition. The original dust jacket has been replaced with a clear plastic jacket. The covers have minor bumps, bruises, scuffs and soiling. The binding is well flexed from usage. There are NO rips, tears or penmarks, just a few tiny dog ears on some of the pages. This one is a reader, not for just sitting on a shelf.

The Thresher by Herbert Krause, Bobbs-Merrill 1946.  This one is used and missing the dust jacket, the covers have minor bumps, bruises and scuffs.  Most notably at the bottom of front cover where it attaches to the spine.   Inside there are NO rips, tears, just some minor folds and bends. The binding is tight and intact. This one is a reader, not for just sitting on a shelf. 

Peterson Field Guides, Eastern Birds. The guide is 4 3/4" X 7 1/2" and has a semi-hard cover. I know that sounds weird, but it is NOT a paperback it has a flexible laminated cover that has minor bumps, bruises and a little staining. Inside there are no rips, tears or missing pages. 383 pages chock full of illustrations of eastern US birds, habitat areas and species descriptions.

A Veterinary Guide For Animal Owners 1976 By C.E. Spaulding. The one is in fantastic shape for being 28 years old. The dust jacket has some bumps, bruises, some minor rips and tears. The covers have minor bumps and bruises only, nothing major. Inside the binding is tight and intact there are NO rips, tears, folds or bends. Great Vet guide for the mortal man, take care of your animal.

Sportsman's Guide to Game Animals, Rue 2nd 1969 VG DJ. 650 pages full of information on Game Animals, including many B&W photos. The dust jacket is in very good shape with only minor bumps and bruises. The covers have minor bumps, bruises overall very good. Inside there are no rips, tears or penmarks. The binding is tight and intact.

Paris Underground by Etta Shiber 1943 Good W/DJ. The dust jacket has some minor doinking and a few small rips, but no major (see pictures). The covers have minor bumps, bruises and a little fading. Inside there are no rips, tears or penmarks and the binding is in tact.

Apple II Computer Basic Programming Manual 1978 by Apple Computers.  The book is in great shape with only minor spots and dings to the covers, inside there are NO missing, torn or damaged pages.  If you have an ancient Apple II that you'd like to fool around with, this books for you.
