California Pottery reached its heyday in the 50's and 60's.  As with everything else in the U.S. manufacturing costs drove many of the makers out of business and some just moved their operations over seas where they could take advantage of "cheap" labor.  This usually resulted in some very inferior products.  We have a large selection of California Pottery, if you don't see what your looking for just just send us an info request and we will check to see if we have it.  We are adding new items all the time, since we hate spam as much as you do, book mark this page, as we do not contact anyone unless specifically requested.  Click the little pictures to see it full size, and do the same on the linked words to see other views.  The Qty listed for each item are the number of that item in stock, unless otherwise noted in the description.  If the description indicates more than one available, you can change the number in the shopping cart and click on the update quantity button!

Vern Kilns Barkwood Saucer.  This wonderful saucer has NO chips or cracks, there may be some light surface scratches.  The Vernonware back stamp is very light. 

Vern Kilns Barkwood 7½" Sandwich Plate.  This wonderful saucer has NO chips or cracks, there may be some light surface scratches.  The Vernonware stamp is seen here.  Some have coloration under the glaze on the back. 

Metlox Sculptured Zinnia Gravy Boat.  Beautiful in every way, NO chips, cracks or scratches.  Beautiful California pottery.

Treasure Craft Rocking Horse Coin Bank.  There are NO chips or cracks.  It still has the original paper Treasure Craft label as well as the "Remer's" store label.  Just a beautiful piece. 

1963 Treasure Craft Big Leaf Candy Dish.  There are some very minor scratches in the shiny part of the dish.  There are no cracks, but there some worn spots on the edge.

Vern Kilns Vernonware Homespun water tumbler.  This 14 oz, 5 3/8" tumbler has NO chips or cracks.  There are some MFG flaws, nothing big, most notable is a missing spot of glaze on the rim.  This is not a chip, as the glaze flows smoothly up to the exposed bisque. 

Poppytrail Aztec 6 1/8" Vegetable Bowl.  There are no chips, cracks or repairs.  There may be a faint surface scratch or two, but I looked and couldn't see any. 

Metlox Poppytrail Red Sugar & Creamer.  No cracks and only one small chip on the handle of the sugar bowl.  Fantastic set. 

Vernonware Gayety Large Pitcher.  There are NO chips or cracks, just a few light surface scratches.  Super California Pottery piece. 

Vernonware Homespun Large Pitcher.  There are NO chips or cracks, just a few faint surface scratches and a few minor MFG flaws in the form of tiny bumps in the glaze. 

Vernonware Arcadian 8 5/8" Salad Bowl.  There is no cracks, just some crackling to the glaze and about 8 or so fleabite size chips on the underside of the outer edge.  Typical of dishes that were moved around a lot.

Vernonware Gingham Creamer without the lid.  There are NO chips or cracks, just a few faint surface scratches. 

Vernonware Raffia Cup & Saucer.  There are NO chips or cracks, just a few light surface scratches. 

Metlox Sculptured Grape Coffee Cup.  There are NO chips, cracks or damage to this great California Pottery Piece. 

Metlox San Fernando Salt & Pepper Shakers.  There are no chips or cracks.  A fine pair of shakers if your set is missing them. 

Metlox Poppytrail Vegetable Rectangular Undivided.  There are no chips, cracks or repairs, just some light surface scratches from usage.

Metlox Camellia 6" bowl.  There are NO chips or cracks, just a few light surface scratches from being used. 

Metlox Poppytrail Red Rooster 10" plate.  There is one tiny chip on the edge, and the front surface of the plate has the finished dulled.  It looks like it was a daily use plate, that was scrubbed a lot. 

Barstow Pottery Desert Sands Bud Vase.  This great Barstow piece had NO chips or cracks, just a little crazing in the glazing and there may be a few slight surface scratches, I didn't see any.  It is marked Desert Sands on the bottom. 

This vase looks very much like Barstow Pottery, but it is unmarked on the bottom so It is hard to tell.  This great piece had NO chips or cracks, just a little crazing in the glazing and there may be a few slight surface scratches, I didn't see any. 

Cleminsons of California Pottery Razor Blade Bank.  There are no chips or cracks, just quite a bit of crazing to the glaze.  There may be a few slight surfaces.

Cleminsons of California Blade Bank circa 1946.  There are no cracks, but it does have some small chips.  On his nose, chin, two on the green flowers and two along the bottom edge.  There is quite a bit of crazing to the glazing.

Cleminsons of California Laundry Sprinkler.  This one must have been used for its intended purpose, judging by the chips in the bottom edge, they are all small ones and unnoticeable.  There are no cracks, but the sprinkler cap has some corrosion. 

Enchanto California Pottery Flower Pot.  There are no chips or cracks, just some water stains on the inside from being used. 

Vernonware Raffia Butter Dish.  There are no cracks or chips, there may be a slight surface scratch or two, but I couldn't see any.
