California Pottery reached its heyday in the 50's and 60's.  As with everything else in the U.S. manufacturing costs drove many of the makers out of business and some just moved their operations over seas where they could take advantage of "cheap" labor.  This usually resulted in some very inferior products.  We have a large selection of California Pottery, if you don't see what your looking for just just send us an info request and we will check to see if we have it.  We are adding new items all the time, since we hate spam as much as you do, book mark this page, as we do not contact anyone unless specifically requested.  Click the little pictures to see it full size, and do the same on the linked words to see other views.  The Qty listed for each item are the number of that item in stock, unless otherwise noted in the description.  If the description indicates more than one available, you can change the number in the shopping cart and click on the update quantity button!

Vernonware Tam O'Shanter Saucer.  There are no chips or cracks, just a faint surface scratch or two.  The depressions where the cup sits is not all scratched up like it was used all the time.  There are a few MFG flaws on the edges and on the bottom.  3 available, just change the Qty in the cart.  

Vern Kilns Organdie Saucer.  There are no chips or cracks, just some light surface scratches.  The depressions where the cup sits shows signs of usage.  There are a few MFG flaws on the edges and on the bottom.   

Vernonware Gingham Salt Shaker.  This is a single shaker not a set.  There are no chips or cracks.  There may be a faint surface scratch or two, but I looked closely and couldn't see any.  It has the stopper. 

Metlox Sculptured Zinnia Creamer.  There are no chips or cracks.  There may be a faint surface scratch or two, but I looked closely and couldn't see any.  It is marked on the bottom with the number 13.  There are two MFG color spots under the glazing by the spout and one to the left of the flowers.

Barkwood Divided Vegetable Bowl.  There are no chips or cracks, just some light surface scratching from usage.  The interior surface is bright and shiny, not scrubbed out from washing with abrasives.  There are some dark spots under  the glaze, on the bottom at one end.

Metlox Homestead Provincial Blue Salt &Pepper Shakers. The shakers have no cracks or repairs, just a few light surface scratches from being jostled around. The stoppers for both shakers are missing. The salt shaker has two flaws in the blank that were done at the factory, one divet is in the handle and the other is where they drilled the one of the shaker holes. Both dinks were glazed over and are smooth and shiny as the rest.  

Metlox Homestead Provincial Blue Sugar Bowl, no lid.  The shakers have no cracks or repairs, just a few light surface scratches from being jostled around. Nice Provincial piece.

Metlox Green Rooster 8 ½" Bowl.  There are no chips or cracks and the surface is bright and shiny.  There are a few light surface scratches, but nothing deep.  There are two available, just change the QTY in the shopping cart to 2 if you want both. 

Vernonware Homespun Large Creamer.  This one's just beautiful.  There are no chips or cracks, just a faint surface scratch or two from being jostled around over the years.  It holds 16 oz. (2 Cups). 

Vernonware Homespun 14" Chop Plate.  There are NO chips or cracks, just some light surface scratches from being used.  The surface is bright and shiny, not dulled from scrubbing. 

Vernonware Barkwood 4" Individual Casserole.  This is the first Vern Kilns piece of this type I have ever seen in any of the Vernonware patterns.  There are no cracks, just some slight surface scratches.  There are two small chips on the underside of the lid, see the photo.
