Scuffy The Tugboat, 80's - 90's reprint of this
classic story. This one is in great shape with only minor bumps
and bruises to the cover. Inside the book is in super good
shape with only minor flaws, NO rips, tears, folds or pen-marks.

story. There are only minor bumps, bruises and scuffs
to the covers and one small pen-mark on the rear cover.

Vintage Wonders are hard to find
in super good condition. This was due to the manufacturing
construction. Unlike Little Golden's, which were stapled through
and through, Wonder Books like Rand McNally were stitched with thread
to a cardboard spine. They were then covered with the cover
paper, that flexed with every opening of the covers.
Consequently, Wonder, Rand McNally Elf and the variations are
difficult to find with this spine paper completely in tact. I
have taken photos of the splits on these books and you can see them by

Talking Books, Victor Herbert's March
of the Toys. The covers have some bumps, bruises and
minor scuffing. There is a spot in the record on the front
cover, I don't know if the record
plays. I wouldn't recommend trying it, as you could
permanently damage the book. The front cover is covered
with a thin clear film to make it washable, the film has
separated where the front cover hinges. Inside
there are no rips or tears, just a few small pen marks and the
pages exhibit some slight waviness.

Reader, Under The Sun 1946. This vintage
one is in good shape, with the binding tight and in tact. There
are minor bumps and bruises on the cover
as well as a few spots and soiling. There are some stamp
marks on the inside front and rear covers, these are from the school
district that eliminated it from their library.
There are a few tiny tears 1/8" at the bottom of a few
pages. It bears the soiling of quite a few years of
bringing wholesome joy to children
when there was no such thing as X-Men.
There is a 1/4" hole in the index page, it is pictured here.

Store 1929 Social
Science Reader, ex-libris. This ex-library book is from
Wellwood Elementary
School in Beaumont California.
The covers
have bumps bruises and a little soiling. Inside the pages are
darkened from age and are a bit wavy and wrinkled from use and
storage. There are NO rips, tears or missing pages, just a
school stamp and pencil name on the inside front cover. Great vintage
1930's reader.
