Coin
Banks
I don't know what it is
about coin banks but I just love 'em. Maybe its their
art deco nature. Anything that adds an artsy decoration
not specifically related to it main purpose is art deco to me
and most coin banks fill that criteria to me. Many coin
banks are quite unique in nature, making them
collectible. It doesn't matter if you call them piggy or
mechanical, they are great to collect and display. If
you don't see what your looking for just just send us an info
request and we will check to see if we have it. We

Vintage Strato
Bank. This one has some bumps,
bruises and paint
loss as well as some spots of tape and tape residue.
The mechanism
still works and launches a coin into the slot. The decal
on the side says Industrial Bank of Commerce,
the decal is yellowed and peeling in spots.
It does not have the original key, but I am having one made
for it and it will ship with a usable key.

This little piggy
looks a lot like an American
Bisque piece, but I don't think it is. It is not marked on
the bottom. It has the cold painted
mustard yellow spots typical of a lot of ABC pieces, but on the
ABC pieces I have seen, they mostly have eyelashes
on all the eyes this one doesn't. There are no chips, cracks or
repairs and no stopper for the bottom. There are some light
surface scratches from being jostled around and flaking to the
cold painted
spots.

Vintage Merchants
Bank and Trust Keychain with Coin
Holder. The fob is the size of a dime and is spring loaded
to hold the dimes. In those days phone calls and toll booths
both were a dime. My Uncle got this in 1965 when he opened a
Merchants Bank account in Norwalk, Connecticut. The front side
has red paint that is flaking in spots, the plated metal has
scuffs and scratches, but no dents or damage.
