Scottish Drummer Boy Doll 1950. He's made of hard plastic with eyes that open and close
when you lay him down. His shoes and socks are painted on and have a
few flakes. His jacket is red felt and the kilt linen, the white
belt and shoulder strap appear to be missing some covering. It also
appears the drum had a strap due to the glue residue on his shoulders, but
it's gone replaced by heavy thread. He appears to be in his original
box which bears a label "An Athole Product" and "Made in
Scotland". The box is a little beat up but still in tact.

Dakin Dream Pets Lion #109 (Not Ludicrous Lion). These
sawdust-filled toys were originally used by the company as filler in the
boxes to protect their toy trains in shipping. They quickly became popular
and by the 1970's, there were over 2000 different Dream
Pets. This
little guy is in very good shape with no rips or tears, although his mane
could be fluffed up and his white parts are slightly darkened from old
age. I haven't seen another #109 on the internet so far and I've
been looking to find his name.

Vintage 1947 Hobby
Vise A.D. McBurney
Los Angeles. The patent
for this vise was drawn in 1946, the original

just fine, it does need to be bolted down for stability.
The painted surfaces have some chipping due to being jostled
around over the years. No real corrosion to speak of. Great
